Get Funky

Imre Suri is a key figure in Hungary’s DJ scene, shaping the local funk and disco culture for decades. In 2018, he received a lifetime achievement award, recognizing his impact not only as a DJ but also as an event organizer and music producer. He is the driving force behind the successful Get FUNKY and THE DISCO party series, while his remixes have reached wide audiences. Over the years, more than 20 compilation albums have been released under his name, several of which achieved gold and platinum status. As a pioneer of the Hungarian DJ scene, he organized the country’s first DJ competitions and played a crucial role in supplying DJs with music through the DJ Service network.
