MAIN STAGE
The huge field on the edge of Paloznak in the direction of Lovas turns into the venue of our biggest shows each year, with the starry night sky providing the ceiling and the lawn under our feet. Sitting in the grass in the afternoon or holding a glass of wine while dancing in the evening to international star performers and the luminaries of the Hungarian music scene. In recent years the venue has hosted Emeli Sandé, Level 42, Rick Astley, Anastacia, Thievery Corporation, Candy Dulfer, Jazzanova, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, Incognito, St. Germain, DePhazz, Mezzoforte, Lisa Stansfield, and the list goes on.
The clearing in front of the Main Stage also hosts most of our gastro exhibitors, the motto truly being: ‘Picnicking is encouraged!’
FÁBIÁN JULI STAGE
The courtyard of Paloznak's Country House ('Tájház') is the point of origin of Jazzpiknik: this is where it all started, and in the beginning this was the sole venue of the concerts. The flowery yard with its authentic whitewashed house provides a truly cozy club atmosphere, and this is where events most typically go on into the small hours.
STREET STAGE
On the Main Street (‘Fő utca’) of Paloznak, just as you stroll between the Fábián Juli Stage at the heart of the village and the Main Stage, this stage partly protruding to the street was a huge success already when first introduced in 2016. The rural atmosphere mingles with the bustle of the festival, featuring promising jazz duos, trios and solo acts. By evening, half the street is filled with couples rocking back and forth on their feet.
TAITTINGER CHAMPAGNE TERRACE
Champagne and mediterranean jazz. We have created a truly exclusive venue in 2017 on a small hill next to the lovely church of the village, where the main actors are champagne, relaxation and pleasant music.
