Izo FitzRoy, the London based singer who shapes the blues/soul/gospel genres to her own taste, returns to Hungary after her first show in the country last year. In one of the most exciting stages of his career, on the tour of his third studio album, the audience will experience her music on the main stage of Jazzpiknik.

Released by Jalapeno Records and produced by Kraak & Smaak founder Oscar De Jong, 'A Good Woman' tells the story of what it's like to be a single woman dealing with social expectations and depression, and how we can use it all to become stronger. Izo's art is primarily based on the raw power of Janis Joplin, but she was also greatly influenced by the heartfelt lyrics of Bill Withers. Before her solo career, which started in the second half of the 2010s, she sang in choirs and led her own choir, so it was no challenge for her to put the best gospel group behind her on stage, which provides a perfect complement to her characterful voice and the playing of the soul musicians accompanying them.
