Zaz

Isabelle Geffroy, better known as Zaz, is a French singer who mixes fast, gypsy jazz genre with the sensitive, rhythmic, soul world. Her first single "I want" instantly became known to the public. The young Isabelle entered the conservatory in Tours at the age of 5. She also took guitar, piano and violin lessons in music theory, which can be traced back to his deep music sense. Between 2001 and 2008 Zaz played in various bands with a blues and jazz accent, and started a solo career for the first time. 2009 was a turning point in Zaz's career, when she won the first place at the music competition „Le Tremplin Génération” in Paris, it was the opening door to the worldwide success. Her first album was released in 2010. The song "I want", which criticizes the consumer society, was her first big international success. TF1 chose as the hit of the summer at the time.

Zaz's work stole into the hearts of several generations at the same time. Her career took off and she bagged several serious music awards, such as the Chanson Révélation award of the Charles-Cros Academy, and the European Border Breaker Awards in 2013. The singer has already performed all over the world and audiences have recognized her diverse talent everywhere: from Russia to Japan, including the United States and many European countries. Who doesn't know her catchy hit "Je Veux" and her brilliant composition "De couleurs vives" from her recent releases? Her last album was released in 2022 under the title ISA, which faithfully reflected that Zaz's musical career is still on the upswing.
